According to the Belgian tango formation SONICO (the name of a Rovira composition), Eduardo Rovira's work is in no way inferior to Piazzolla's innovative power - and with their latest CD releases and concerts, they are working to prove it. 5,6,7,8 - The Edge of Tango Vol. 2 is the musicians' fifth CD dedicated to Rovira's compositions and the second to juxtapose Rovira and Piazzolla.
And the result is: stunning. Completely unsuitable for the milonga, but perfect for concert halls and the home stereo system. The eight musicians play at a fantastic level with an excellent sound.
