Rodolfo Mederos y Generatión Cero
Coleción Archivos en vivo
This CD is a gem for collectors interested in the tango music of today. Before Rodolfo Mederos became the most influential bandoneon professor for traditional tango as a founding member of the EMPA, he wanted to break new ground in the crisis of tango. The Generacion Cero of tango saw itself as seekers and innovators of tango music. They explored the connections to rock, jazz, folklore and other genres. Mederos was particularly interested in rock. This bridge-building, which is very topical again in today's tango, had its first heyday at the end of the 1970s. This is documented on this now rare CD, which brushes tango in the direction of 70s rock
