This EP (Extended Play) by 'La Santa Calavera' is a very successful occasional product. When the nine-piece orchestra had to cancel a concert in St. Petersburg in 2023, they were invited to record one or two pieces as a replacement. Mauricio Jost, director of Orquesta, is a great fan of recordings in one take, because the interaction between the musicians is better captured than when the voices are recorded separately - and so the 'one or two' themes became a total of six pieces.

In general, you can hear here that Mauricio Jost as an arranger is looking for a dynamic sound that gives classical titles more beat and tempo, so that the orchestra plays in a fresh and contemporary way. It is clear that Jost played the first bandoneon with formative orquestas milongueras, such as the 'Sexteto Milonguero' and 'La Romantica Milonguera
