Two years after their CD Sin Palabras, the four musicians embark on a mission, Misión Tango - a combination of authentic tango with orchestral sound and chamber music esprit. And they (Thomas Reif/violin, Karel Bredenhorst/violoncello, Andreas Rokseth/bandoneon, Martin Klett/piano) succeed very impressively.
They take the listener with them on their mission from the 1940s to today, using well-known compositions performed in the style of not always 'milonga-ordinary' performers - and that's what makes the mission really exciting.
