Cuarteto Rotterdam
Buenos Aires Today
The tango of the 21st century is virtuoso, lively and extraordinarily worth listening to. And the best thing about it is that the core elements of the tango can be heard in every composition, only transformed into the tango sound of the 21st century.
On their 5th album, Michael Dolak (bandoneón), Susanne Cordula Welsch (violin), Judy Ruks (piano) and Facundo Leónidas Di Pietro (double bass) devote themselves exclusively to tango music that was written today and whose authors are (still) alive. The compositions on this album come from Argentina, France and Sweden. As you can see, tango is at home all over the world.
With this in mind, we wish you a wonderful global tango experience with Buenos Aires Today.
